Arts, Crafts, and Music:
Our schedule includes one hour of arts and crafts each
day.
Children are encouraged to use their imagination
through experimentation.
The art environment is planned, set up and
maintained
by me, as are the activities, so that the children can

function independently to use their materials and tools,
work in
their space, and most importantly, create their
own unique pieces of art.
The children are encouraged to take part in our daily
music session. The daily sessions are
sometimes "sing
along".
Science and Nature:
Children learn science and nature through simple
experiments with familiar materials.
Hands on experiences of gardening, seeds and
flowers.
The children will also classify living / non-living, plant/
animal and vertebate/
invertebrate.
Classroom science covers such topics as minerals, the

life cycle of a butterfly, bones, amphibians, reptiles
mammals and birds are few examples.
Through play, your child will learn the importance of
cooperation and sharing. They will also learn social
behavior, and how to get along with others. They will
learn how to understand their feelings, gain self

confidence, respect for others and themselves. All these
things that will stay with them
for a lifetime.
